People achieved gliding flight before they achieved powered flight. After the powered aviation era was well under way it was discovered that you could climb away from the earth without the assistance of a motor and have adventures in the sky if you were clever about it. This web site is for and by the people that do that in Manitoba, Canada at the Winnipeg Gliding Club.

It is also very much about helping you, the visitor to this site, determine if you would like to also have such adventures.
